The Nature of the Universe, the nature of God, the nature of Source is JOY.
I remember the amount of joy and playfulness that I had when I was a little girl. I'm sure you remember that too.
But as we grow up we are conditioned to be so serious.
We get so caught up in life's circumstances so easily that we even forget how it feels to be joyful.
We insist on thinking about the past or rush into the future.
In my case, I tend to look at the future a lot. Always waiting for the next thing.
But I know that one of the reasons why children express so much joy is because they live in the present moment.
So lately I've been practicing bringing myself to the present moment with all of my being.
📍 Right here. Right now.
And what's been happening is magical: Joy visits me.
I say magical because I don't really do anything other than letting go and being fully present in the moment. Just by dropping everything else I can tap into joyfulness.
And I know this can sound easier said than done, especially with so much happening in the world, in our lives and the need to resolve things.
But when I find myself overwhelmed, feeling not enough, thinking I should be doing more or trying to fix things, the answer is always JOY.
Imagine you could merge your adulthood experience with the joyfulness of a child...
How would your life be different?
Well let me tell you this: It is possible!
How? Simply come back to the present moment and you will discover joy.
You don't need to be better to experience joy. Joy is not anywhere out there, it is within you. You were born with it!
You can return to your natural state of joy whenever you decide to. And when you do, you'll notice how you become more resourceful, your energy changes.
So ask yourself these questions every day:
🪄 How can I bring more joy into my next task?
🪄 How can I bring joy into my body temple?
🪄 How can I bring more joy into my relationships?
It all starts with the intention to live in the present moment to experience your reality in a joyful way.
I hope this encourages you to be right here, right now. 📍
